Our mission is to bring the world of Chavurot (friends) to Temple Judea.  Groups of friends, couples, singles, or any combination of temple members may form a Chavurah to share a common bond of spiritual and social activities, thus expanding the community of Temple Judea beyond our physical walls.

Each group plans its own activities and schedule. Often it’s a Shabbat or Havdallah together in a relaxed home setting. It might be a holiday play date or an evening discussion. A Chavurah offers the perfect setting to get to know each other, form friendships and lend support.

Call us about the different age and interest Chavurot forming at TJ or your interest in starting one.

In Judaism, it is not just the activity, but the community, itself, that is sacred.
